ABP Asmita is an Indian television news channel, mainly for its Gujarati audience in India and around the globe. It is part of the larger ABP News Network, which also contains channels like ABP News, ABP Ananda, and ABP Majha.

ABP Asmita is a 24-hour regional news channel broadcasting in Gujarati language. It operates from Ahmedabad, Gujarat and has created a strong resonance among the Gujarati viewers through its innovative formats and viewer-driven content. It reaches to 17 million viewers weekly.

The Executive Editor of ABP Asmita, Ronak Patel has over 21 years of experience. He began his journalistic career with Zee Telefilms’s Alpha Gujarati, a regional Gujarati channel as a representative of Surat and surrounding areas (2000-2003). In the year 2003, he joined Star News as a reporter for Surat and South Gujarat. 

During his stint with Star News, he broke many exclusive news stories pertaining to Gujarat and nearby Maharashtra districts. From Star News to ABP Network, he continued to be with the group till 2014 as a representative of South Gujarat bureaus. He briefly left organization and worked with Sandesh News as an associate editor (2014-15) and then re-joined ABP Network group (2015) with the launch of regional Gujarati news channel ABP Asmita as producer and assignment lead.
